What I do... I am a preservation specialist.

I help my clients protect the money they’ve worked so hard to save and grow. In particular, I guide my clients around these threats: market risk, , income and estate taxes at death, probate, creditor and lawsuit confiscation and loss of your savings to the nursing home. Once retired, we face different threats. Now with the freedom of time comes new challenges, new threats to you and your family’s financial well being. Your decisions are critical and sometimes irreversible. Market risk is a much greater threat at 75 then at 45. What if your account value falls when you need your money? Now paper losses become real loses!

o The nursing home is a huge emotional and financial threat for your family. What will happen to your savings if you or your spouse require a nursing home? Will there be enough money for our spouse? Will there be anything left for your children and grandchildren?

o We all want to avoid probate. Passing your assets without probate is usually very easy. With proper planning and you don’t need to pay for a trust to avoid probate.

o For many of us, our IRA’s or 401(k)’s are a large part of our savings. Because these are all untaxed dollars, when you and your spouse pass away, your heirs, your children, will likely pay up to 35 to 40% of the value of your inherited IRA to the IRS. If you make your IRA “Multi-Generational”, you can avoid this huge tax on your death. Your IRA can stay alive and growing tax-deferred, providing your children and grandchildren a large a large amount of money as long as they live. It costs nothing to make an IRA or 401(k) Multi-Generational.

If you have a tooth problem, you go to a dentist. If you have a heart problem you go to a cardiologist. If you have a back problem and can’t stand up, you go to a chiropractor. It’s OK to have 2 doctors, isn’t it? If any doctor tells you he can handle everything, run! He’s a witchdoctor! If your advisor tells you he can handle everything for you, run! He’s thinking more about his pocketbook than yours. Brokers and financial advisors who put your money in the market are risk specialists or “risk doctors”. They deal with risk, uncertainty, and volatility. I’m a “safe-money doctor.” I help clients grow and transfer money safely at competitive rates- safe from market risk, taxes, the nursing home, probate, creditors and lawsuit.
